Donald Lawrence To Mark 20 Years In Gospel With Live CD/DVD

The veteran gospel artist will celebrate his career milestone with the help of Kelly Price, Faith Evans, and more on ‘Best For Last’

When Donald Lawrence released his debut album A Songwriters Point Of View back in 1993, it marked the beginning of an annointed musical journey that would yeild an impressive and highly successful two-decade career in gospel. The 52-year-old songwriter/producer and singer is celebrating his 20th anniversary with Best For Last, a special two-volume compilation album and DVD that features live recordings and performances of his greatest hits—old and new.

Recorded back in June, the special CD/DVD includes features from Yolanda Adams (“Best For Last”), Faith Evans (“Say a Prayer”), Kelly Price (“When the Saints Go To Worship”), Coko of SWV (“Mighty God”) and Lalah Hathaway (“Ultimate Relationship,” a song Lawrence originally penned for Mary J. Blige‘s 2003 album Love & Life).

“2013 marks 20 unbelievable years in the music business since releasing my first album with the Tri-City Singers, and I could not be more excited…” shared Lawrence.
